Who are Brays Pipelines?

Brays Pipeline is a family-run business that has worked within the water services industry for private and commercial customers for many years.

We have dedicated, fully experienced teams that can repair or renew your property’s burst and damaged water supply pipes. We were established in 2000 and are proud to be a main contractor working alongside local authorities, Severn Trent Water and many insurance companies.

We work on many types of projects, from small water leaks at private properties to large burst pipes that have flooded and lifted main roads.

Smart meter

As part of the Green Recovery Project, every property with a new supply will also have a smart meter installed. If you are currently on a metered supply, this will replace your old meter, and you will be billed via your new smart meter.

If you are not currently on a water meter, don’t worry! You will not be billed from the smart meter, and its only purpose will be to help you monitor your consumption and help in the future identify leakage etc.

How it works

Once you have registered your interest with us, a representative from Brays Pipelines will give you a call and arrange a visit to your property at a time that suits you best.

A member of our inspection team will then carry out an inspection at your property. During this visit, we will need to see where your internal stop tap(s) is located. Don’t worry if you don’t know where your stop tap(s) are – we can help with this.

We will assess how your existing pipework is configured and then explain what works are required and how we plan on completing the works.

This is also an excellent opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If you’re on a shared supply with your neighbours, we will also need to speak to them.

All works completed by Brays Pipelines is completed to water regulations & WRAS approved products and fittings only.

Severn Trent Water will install: a new boundary box with individual controlling stop tap for each property.

Brays Pipelines will install: Complete new water service with brand new internal connection all replaced in plastic MDPE.
